Did you know that somewhere near you a scared, innocent dog or puppy is being abandoned in a park, on the street, at a dog pound or at a shelter. Many have been abused, are sick, or injured, but now even worse they are alone. Most will be killed at shelters when no one claims them. This is where the volunteers with A Home 4 ever step in to rescue as many of these dogs in need as they can so new loving homes can be found. all they want is to be part of a family, to be a companion,, a protector, to be needed, and loved, to be with someone, to not be alone. to do this they need the help of volunteers and foster homes. The more volunteers and fosters the more dogs can be saved.
Volunteers - help with the hard work of setting up and tearing down the adoption events, as well as walking, watering, and handling of the dogs during the events, Adoption events are held at various locations allowing potential adopters to meet and learn about the dogs - some help get the word out about our dogs and our mission.
Fostering- Foster care providers are the people who care for the dogs in theirh omes while the animals await adoption. Fosters normally find it to be a very rewarding experience knowing that they are helping to save a dog from an otherwise gruesome future.
Foster homes allow our dogs to socialize to interact daily with people and other animals. they learn the important training they need to find a good loving home. It has been out experience that going to a home with kind, loving foster parents makes the transition much easier for the animal, plus A Home 4 Ever Resue does not have any boarding facilities.Plus with the help of our foster families, we can rescue more dogs. As a foster, you always have control over what type of animal you can foster.
